What are the benefits of a Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured A/C compressor?

The genuine remanufactured part refrigerant compressor from Mercedes-Benz is impressive in many respects

– especially when it comes to performance and longevity. In a complex

remanufacturing process, the clutch plate, pistons, magnetic clutch, shaft and valve block all

undergo complete remanufacturing. All wear parts are then replaced with genuine parts from

Mercedes-Benz, and the system is filled with fresh oil. On the test stand, the remanufactured part is

put through its paces by Mercedes-Benz specialists in accordance with the latest series specifications

to ensure that it delivers the performance and functionality you would expect from a new part. The

successful completion of a range of load and performance tests confirms the promised performance and

functionality.

How does the refrigerant compressor work?

The refrigerant circuit of the in-car A/C system is a highly sensitive, closed system that is under high

pressure. To ensure smooth operation and condition-preserving climate comfort in the vehicle interior,

it is extremely important that the main refrigerant compressor components are functioning properly. The

refrigerant compressor ensures that the gaseous refrigerant is compressed at a pressure of around 20

bar. Its temperature increases rapidly at the same time. The energy required for this process originates

from a connection between the belt pulley and compressor shaft, which ultimately provides the required

power for the compressor.

Reduce your environmental impact with the remanufactured in-car refrigerant compressor from Mercedes-Benz.

In addition to outstanding performance and consistently high quality, the remanufactured genuine parts

range from Mercedes-Benz are also environmentally friendly. During our remanufacturing process, valuable

resources are saved, which makes our remanufactured parts more ecofriendly and cost-effective.

All parts are remanufactured and tested in accordance with the strict requirements of Mercedes-Benz,

which means that remanufactured parts are of a comparable quality to new parts.
