In our remanufacturing process, the car turbocharger is fitted with a
new, balanced compressor wheel. The compressor wheel housing is professionally remanufactured, which
means that it can be reattached to the engine with a high degree of dimensional accuracy. The series
specifications of the bearing housing are checked and, if necessary, adjusted accordingly. The
Mercedes-Benz turbocharger is also equipped with a preassembled oil connection.
The turbocharger – also known as an exhaust gas turbocharger – has the job of supercharging the engine.
It boosts engine output and efficiency, making it an auxiliary assembly of the combustion engine. It
utilizes a part of the energy from the engine exhaust gas to drive a compressor. This increases the
fresh air pressure in the intake system, optimizes the charge level of combustion air in the cylinders
and also directs more of the oxygen required for combustion into the cylinders in the assembly. This
results in higher engine output while reducing consumption and cutting emissions.
A genuine remanufactured turbocharger from Mercedes-Benz is also precisely coordinated with the
other engine components and so ensures a pleasant and comfortable drive. As a result, you benefit from
the usual high standards of quality you can expect from the manufacturer whenever you are out and about
in your car. Thanks to the intelligent conservation of resources, it is
also kind to the environment and your wallet.
Remanufacturing according to Mercedes-Benz series standards is only available from the original manufacturer. Various measures within our remanufacturing process, such as the replacement of the turbine housing, ensure a long service life for the exchange part. Special machining of the flange surfaces according to new part specifications ensures stable performance. See for yourself now.
