Nothing is more annoying than a van that won't start. As engine experts, we offer you immediate assistance in the case of engine problems. Regardless of whether the engine is emitting smoke, making noise, has reduced output, misfires during starting or has become leaky over time. We have a good solution for every customer requirement.
In addition to the classic Mercedes-Benz complete engine, you can purchase even lower-cost engine block alternatives such as the basic engine, long block, long block plus or the short block at our Mercedes-Benz dealers. The latter offer a good price/performance ratio since in the case of engine damage, the entire engine does not have to be repaired, rather only the damaged components such as the crankshaft, pistons or connecting rod, crankcase or engine block. The undamaged detachable parts such as the turbocharger, control units, engine wiring harness, water pump, high-pressure pump, vacuum pump, common rail injection system, injectors and injection nozzles, partially even the cylinder head can be reused.
For damage that is limited to individual detachable parts such as the turbocharger, replacement of the affected component can be the best value alternative. However, the risk is high here in older vehicles that a different part could soon break down again, and your vehicle will have to undergo expensive repairs. It is worth considering whether it would be better value to directly purchase a replacement engine for which you will receive an impressive guarantee for the complete major assembly and can enjoy a long period of happy motoring on the road again. Furthermore, engine experts always advise a professional engine diagnosis to ensure that no other component parts were damaged due to the defective single part. A small metal chip, such as from the turbocharger compressor wheel, is often enough to result in serious engine damage.
