What are the product advantages of the Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured automatic transmission?

Great importance is attached to the quality and reliability of our Mercedes-Benz genuine automatic transmissions as a remanufactured part. The remanufactured spare part has a long service life and creates trust. The basic transmission includes all the technological improvements from the current series production and is remanufactured so that it is ready to install. Installation is quick, and the previously integrated electrohydraulic controller unit reduces time off the road. Extensive cleaning processes guarantee the high quality standard and longevity and ensure that no foreign bodies damage the mechanical component parts.

How does an automatic transmission work?

The automatic transmission selects the best shift timing point based on objective measured data and implements this more quickly and precisely than a manual gearshift. At the same time, the automatic transmissions protect themselves against incorrect operation during driving as the sensors work in a flawless manner. The gears are formed by the precisely adapted and electronically-controlled connection and disconnection of the rotating planetary gear sets.

The transmission converts engine torque into the required wheel tractive force for overcoming motion resistance. In idle, the torque converter acts like a disengaged clutch. As it does so, it transmits just enough torque so that the vehicle will start moving when the brake is released. However, engine torque is increased by at least two fold during driving off. This increase ends once the transmission and engine speeds are identical.

How to recognize a defective automatic transmission:

  • Gear engagement difficult and delayed
  • Low transmission oil level
  • Rough gear change
  • Delayed driveaway
  • Vehicle vibration
  • High rpm without propulsion
  • Unusual noises from engine compartment

Mercedes-Benz quality for your van automatic transmission.

Each drivetrain is only as efficient as the transmission that transmits its power. If it comes to the worst, we recommend a Mercedes-Benz remanufactured transmission due to its proven quality standard and its high economic efficiency. You can save time and money! We disassemble the automatic transmission and subject it to a thorough cleaning. Wear parts are replaced and put though their paces by specially trained professionals. The automatic transmission is subsequently reinstalled and delivered.

The expertise from the current Mercedes-Benz series production is also incorporated in the automatic transmission remanufacturing process. The remanufactured part is thus comparable with a new part in terms of the quality and functionality. You also go easy on your budget and help protect the environment due to the intelligent saving of resources. The remanufactured automatic transmission is available for all current Mercedes-Benz automatic transmissions.
