Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured water pumps are comparable with their equivalent new part in terms of quality and longevity. Wear parts are replaced by specially trained Mercedes-Benz personnel. The water pump is subject to extensive testing before it is approved for installation. With a genuine remanufactured water pump, you receive a high-quality genuine part at an attractive price.
How does a water pump work?
The water pump drives the coolant and ensures the circulation required for heat exchange. As a result, heat generated by the engine is optimally dissipated to the ambient air, and engine overheating is prevented. A differentiation is made between mechanical and electrical water pumps. Mechanical water pumps are integrated in the poly-V-belt or in the toothed pulley drives. Electrical water pumps ensure optimal engine cooling regardless of engine speed and also contribute to reducing fuel consumption thanks to high efficiency.
