With a Mercedes-Benz diesel particulate filter as a remanufactured part, the exhausts gases that arise during diesel combustion in the form of soot particles can be filtered out, and harmful emissions are thus reduced. A high-quality filter is thus required right from the start. With our remanufactured diesel particulate filter for vans, you will find precisely such a quality level with which you can achieve optimal fuel consumption and keep the emissions as low as possible. With the innovative diesel particulate filters from our remanufactured parts range, your Mercedes-Benz diesel model will not let you down.
With a particulate filter, it is possible to filter out the majority of the soot and ash. Due to the high temperatures in the exhaust system, the soot particles in the diesel particulate filter can be burnt off. The ultrafine particulates contained in the soot are thus almost completely destroyed.
To put it more precisely, the exhaust gases that arise in the particular filter during combustion are routed through a filter wall made from coated ceramic. In doing so, the various substances have different properties. Soot particles remain stuck to the inside of the filter and are subsequently burnt off at high temperatures, while carbon dioxide and nitric oxide flow through the filter. The monoxides are then reduced by a catalytic converter. Only a small amount of ash remains in the filter, which we can remove as part of our remanufacturing process.
From the Sprinter to the Vito: With a Mercedes-Benz diesel particulate filter as a high-quality remanufactured part, you will tick all the right boxes! Mercedes-Benz fulfills the highest standards during the remanufacturing process.
